Carodyl 25mg Chewable Tablets contain Carprofen, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used in dogs to relieve pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis and post-operative recovery. It works by inhibiting the COX enzyme, reducing the production of prostaglandins responsible for pain and inflammation. Carodyl improves mobility, comfort, and quality of life in aging or injured dogs. The chewable formulation makes administration easier and is usually given once daily or as directed by a veterinarian. Regular monitoring of liver and kidney function is recommended during long-term use. It should not be used in dogs with known hypersensitivity to NSAIDs or existing organ issues.
